Most laptops that come into our Indiranagar bench are working machines. Somebody earns a living on them, so the question is rarely just what is broken. It is how fast it can be usable again, and what happens to the data in the meantime.
That shapes how we work here. We diagnose before quoting, we tell you if a temporary fix will get you through the week, and we do not touch the drive without agreeing it first. If the honest answer is that a repair is not worth it on a five year old machine, we say that too.

ThinkPad, Latitude, EliteBook and the rest of the business range. These are built to be opened, which means board level repair is often viable where a consumer machine would be written off.

Managed or asset tagged machines come with constraints, so tell us up front. We will not reimage, wipe or change anything on a managed device without that being agreed, and we can hand you a written fault report to file with your IT team.
Some faults are warranty covered even on company hardware. If your machine is a Lenovo still in warranty, the work should route through an authorised centre, and ours is in Coimbatore. We will tell you that rather than charging you for something you are covered for.
Before anything else, say whether there is work on the drive that is not backed up. If the drive is healthy we clone it before we start. If the drive is the fault, that changes the order of operations entirely, and rushing it is how recoverable data becomes unrecoverable.

If the part is in stock, a screen, battery, keyboard or drive is often same day. Board level work is measured in days, not hours, and we give you a date at the quote stage rather than after.

No. The bench is Windows laptops, so Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer and ASUS. We would rather say so than take the job and learn on your machine.
Not for out of warranty work, and not for chargeable damage. If the machine is a Lenovo in warranty, we route it through the authorised centre so the cover stays intact.
